"I needed garage doors for a new home build. I had heard great things from my brother about the COSTCO program. I called the phone number on the COSTCO Garage Doors and Openers brochure and promptly received a return call from Action Door Service in Rancho Cordova, CA. Action Door Service set up an appointment to meet me and my brother at the home; we met with David McDaniel. One of the first questions he asked us was what type of garage doors we were looking for. He also showed us a catalog to assist in selecting doors. We went through all the options and selected two of the Olympus Style double doors by Amarr with clear light inserts for the top panels. We already knew we wanted high-lift doors because of the 13-foot ceiling and wall mounted openers. We choose to upgrade to the quieter ball bearing rollers and heavy-duty springs. We asked David who would do the install. David assured us he would be part of the install team when we were ready; we finalized the order. A little over a month later we received a call from Action Door Service, the doors were ready for install. David arrived with Benjamin and Will and the install began. The 3 of them worked together like a well-oiled machine. It was a pleasure to watch the install. The garage doors are beautiful, quiet and open and close smoothly. I have had several previous homes where I had new garage doors installed by other companies. Action Door Service is the best I have ever used. David did not miss a single thing, his attention to detail was excellent. Everything we discussed prior to our install was done as promised. This was a stress-free process from start to finish. "We moved into our home here in Folsom about a year ago which has a 3-car garage. The garage doors and openers were definitely aging, such that we required 2 emergency repair calls in the last 6 months. We decided to go through Costco to get our new hardware, as it has been our experience that contracted vendors are very motivated to keep their customers happy. Plus, we would also receive a Costco Shop card for over $1K. David McDaniel of Action Door Service came out to our home and listened carefully to our goals and concerns. I appreciate very much that he did not attempt to upsell us at any point and actually advised certain choices which saved us money. He clearly is very experienced and not pressured by his boss to squeeze every dollar out of clients like other companies. On the day of installation, Benjamin Wallis headed the 2-man crew who arrived on time and worked very efficiently. After everything was done, he showed us how to use all the features of our new equipment and made sure we understood how everything worked. They left our garage spotless which we appreciated. We are thrilled with our new garage doors and openers, and are happy to recommend Action Door Service to anyone who desires competent, efficient and customer-focused service!"
